It's not really {May} yet, right??

How is it already May? Did April even happen? I feel like I blinked and now it's over.

Time has been a weird thing for me this year. I feel like it's gone by so fast. I seriously cannot believe that Steven is going to be done with his first year at the academy in a little over 2 weeks and I'm going to be done with my first year next month. Where has this whole year gone? If you'd ask me how the time was passing around October I would have sworn the year was never going to end.

But now...MAY?! I think sometimes the time goes by fast because of how little I get to see Bubs. I'm always counting down until the next time I get to see him so sometimes I feel like I'm forgetting about the days in between.  As much as I miss my man, I really want to take this time in college to explore and enjoy each day. I love my man and cannot wait to live near him again, but I don't want to rush through both of our experiences apart just to get to the end of our long distance. Because I mean, seriously, how many times do you get to experience college? Exactly. And no matter what I do to try to make the days go by quicker, the time it will take to get to the end of the distance will be still be the same.

So as always, I'm going to get insanely excited and giddy when I get to see S, and I'm going to try my hardest not to wish away the days in between.

  2. Such a good "lesson" to learn. I was definitely the same way, just trying to wish away the days until I could see Dillon. But we really have so many exciting things to experience on our own! I only have one semester left of college, and I can't believe how quickly it went by, so definitely enjoy it while you can! But we can rejoice because it's only 9 days until San Diego!! :)

  5. The time seems to be going by fast, yet slow at the same time. Deployments never seem to go fast enough!
